GREATER SPRINGFIELD INDIVISIBLE
No Kings: Vote Early Rally!!!
What a wonderful day we had with speakers from the League of Women Voters SWMO, Ozarks Women's Political Caucus and Respect Missouri Voters on October 17th!!!
Check out the website... www.vote411.org this is from the League of Women Voters of Southwest Missouri and you can find out what is on your own ballot, you can even make a choice and print it out so that you have it as reference to use to vote. Click on "See what's on your ballot".
We learned more about how important Amendment 6 is in protecting our votes from our own legislators that have overturned our voices multiple times these past few years. April from Respect Missouri Voters really got us to understand what "Yes on 6" really means!
We also were introduced to our new Chapter of Ozarks Women's Political Caucus We are looking forward to seeing the work they will do as we move forward before and after the election.
We rolled out the following events that we are doing over the next two weeks
Protest on Friday, October 30th from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at Battlefield and Glenstone.
Daily sign waving at the corner of Booneville & Chestnut.
Bridge Brigade signs on the Campbell Pedestrian overpass.
Election Recap & Conversation on November 4th at 5:30 pm at the Republic Library
DETAILS FOR EACH OF THESE EVENTS ARE OVER ON THE “EVENTS” PAGE.
We appreciate all the attendees today, our speakers and the volunteers that helped put this together!!!
