  • ActBlue is a not-for-profit payment processor used by Democratic political campaigns at all levels of government and left-of-center activist groups to handle online donations.

  • No. It is costly, time consuming, and there are many regulations to receive a tax-deductible desigination from the federal government. For all of those reasons, we have chosen to remain unincorporated.

  • National Indivisible pays for ALL the donation credit card fees to ensure 100% of your donation goes to support Greater Springfield Indivisible.

  • Unfortunately, no. Only those donations made by June 30 will count toward the matching gift up to $500.00. However, you can make a donation at any time. This is simply a unique opportunity to stretch your dollar!

  • Yes, but it is more labor intensive. The check must be a minimum of $50.00 (ActBlue’s rule). You would need to contact a member of the board. The board member would then give you a few, simple instructions on how to make out the check.

  • Greater Springfield Indivisible will have a unique ActBlue donation page that has been developed by Greater Springfield Indivisible. Your donation is recorded with National Indivisible but then goes directly into our account.

  • ActBlue does send an email receipt to you.

  • Following is a sample of the costs we’ve incurred. These will be ongoing costs.

  • To avoid any appearance of influence, Greater Springfield Indivisible will not accept donations from political parties, their leaders, candidates for office, or corporations.
